A Night Out With Encon
As an end of year celebration, Encon Group held our holiday party at Maggiano’s in downtown Washington, DC. This chic holiday party gave Encon employees a chance to celebrate each other, their friends, and our 2008 year. Light hors d'oeuvres were passed throughout the evening, with a four-course meal to follow, including a decadent desert plate and festive cocktails flowed throughout the night. Our evening concludes with a unique gift exchange, which only furthered everyone's opportunity to enjoy the holidays and enrich our family-oriented culture here at Encon Group.
Community Service
Encon Group Inc. encourages the members of our firm to give back to the local community. We are actively involved in the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Habitat for Humanity and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In addition, Encon has sponsored a child in the Best Kids Inc. foster care youth mentoring program (http://www.bestkids.org/). Encon also supports local youth sports programs and recently sponsored the Catonsville Stars Youth 11-13 boy’s football team who was the Superbowl Runner up in the MMYCFL and was ranked #5 in the state.
Encon Sports
Here at Encon we believe that “a team that plays together stays together” and we support multiple avenues of team sports in-house and out. Encon group has annually sponsored a office softball team and we also dabbled in basketball and Flag Football leagues. We also have in-house Decathlons, eating competitions and other sporting events.
